Swine flu vaccine-Why oh why?
2 Answers
Hi everyone,I was having a quick look and was a bit confused,Both myself and my daughter have been offered the swine flu vaccine, but dont exactly understand why.In my case I have no asthma,no diabeties(yet,I have a cyst in my pancreas and depending on test results may have it removed)no immune system problems,I am 38 and was fit and healthy till last year when I was having treatment in hospital,to cut a long story short, allergic reaction+cyst in pancreas=neurological problems in my hands and feet.My daughter was diagnosed with cerebal palsy but it is so mild and symptom free we all forget about it apart from when she is tired and starts to limp. There seems to be people out there that want the jab but cannot get it and it does not seem fair(to them)that we are offered it and dont paticulary want it!Just was a bit amazed when we where offered it,but had bad thoughts that maybe my doctors surgery where getting paid by the jab so to speak.Any thoughts( but please be gentle and dont shout too much at me for not jumping at it.Yeah,Mother was right when she said I never did anything that was good for me and my 'little'cyst is proving her right and I feel a bit fragile)Thanks folks.

I have a heart condition and can't have the jab before the Jan 12th as thats when my surgery will start the vaccinations.......I have no idea why Cardiff is so far behind the rest of the UK!!
