also any tips to help her deal with her symptoms other than keep her cool?
phone nhsdirect if in england nhs 24 if scotland and ask for their advise personally i would take her back to the hospital asap
I would always check with the doc again especially if she is delirious - in the meantime while waiting - bathe her feet - a cool cloth on the bottom of the foot and if you have any lavendar or/and euchalypus oils in the water that is good. My eldest used to have those types of high temperatures - good luck
this may give you some answers. I wish her well.

I agree with cherrychapstick, speak to a trained nurse working for the NHS: Tel: 0845 4647
39 Degrees C is a high temperature..

Teething?
my son was sent to hospital after a seizure when he was 6, his temp was through the roof and apart from paracetamol the hospital stripped him to his vest and nappy and let him cool down. it did work as well, if in doubt though phone nhs direct or the doctors, never take a chance on a childs life. better to be safe than sorry,
