Sqad urgent advice required
37 Answers
Hi Sqad,my 20 year old daughter has just phoned me to say her doctor has phoned and told her that her kidneys are failing. Her symptoms have been lack or urination (or urge to urinate) for two days, extreme lethargy, morning paralysis and lack of appetite. Any idea what could cause this in an otherwise healthy and fit 20 year old young woman? She had a reflux kidney problem when she was a baby but has had no problems from that for the last 18 years. She is going to the doctors again as an urgent case in 10 minutes and from there to hospital.

My daughter is currently on the CDU at Blackpool hospital having tests and stuff,i'm waiting for her boyfriend to contact me with news later.I couldn't get on ab before as I had to babysit her boys (22 months and 6 months) until her boyfriend got back from work so i've been quite busy,I am now knackered.lol

To add insult to injury the same daughter had to be at the hospital on Sunday after falling out of a taxi and breaking her ankle so she has been hobbling around on crutches for two days! and I was told on Monday that I have right sided heart failure (Cor Pulmonale). We seem to get all the bad luck :-(
I'll post again later when I have some more news on my daughter.
Thanks again everyone for your good wishes.x
