If so, it looks likely to be homeopathic remedy. If it is a homeopathic remedy, then you can relax somewhat, because you can be very sure that it contains virtually no silica whatsoever. According to Homeopathic thinking, less is more, and they tend to use massive dilutions that mean that no active ingredient at all remains.

I am personally extremely sceptical of the value of any homeopathic remedy, and would urge you to get some proper advice from a GP on how to treat any skin condition you might have.

yes thats the one they gave me , and if none of the acutlal ingridiants remain does that mean there selling nothing i dont really get it whats the point of selling it ?
BIO OIL! 1 my friend had loads of spots on her face they soon disaperared 2 my step dad had a scar on his eye virtually one 3 i had scars on my lip and on my forehead the one on my lip has vanished and you cant really see 1 on my forehead xxx
@Gotcha Homeopathy consists of some very strange ideas. As part of their encyclopedia of remedies, silica is somehow good for the skin. But on the basis that less is more, a homeopathic remedy is usually devoid of any active ingredient whatsoever, ie water, or if a pill, essentially a sugar pill. Any positive effect a patient gets from a homeopathic remedy is likely a result of placebo.

Many health shops buy into the idea of homeopathic remedies as being somehow more "natural" and better for you than those nasty active ingredients contained within western medicines - you know, an active ingredient.

As I say, i would be very sceptical of any such remedy and would advise a trip to your GP to get some sensible advice - but it is ultimately of course, your choice :)
