Right -my daughter who lost her job and has managed to secure a seasonal one was going to work -dropped a fag end in the KFC car park and a bleeding DOG WARDEN screeched to a halt in her car and chased back at her and lashed her with a 50 quid fine.She accepted it only after the said DOG WARDEN ran after her as she didnt want to be late for work.

Now from a legal point -it was on private property and there was no CCTV. She cant manage to pay it -she knows she was silly but jeeez -I just wished they actually targetted the people who let their dogs cr@p on public ground rendering us liable to trail it into out homes.

Does it get to the extreme now that if you pick your nose and roll it up and are seen to drop it that you are fined.

I know people who have accepted a 40 quid fine for public disorder and placing people in alarm.

So peeps -what avenue next given she is skint and I think its highly unfair -theres fag ends every bleeding place and outside every bleeding pub.

spaced -exactly -she obviously hadnt met her targets that day -they want to chase the junkies who used to go up her closey (passage to her flat) and shoot up -before she got security door -the Environmental Health wouldnt touch them -its shocking really !

Sqad the poor areas are filty and are allowed to fester, whilst the rich are maintained and a blind eye is taken to their dogs fouling and them throwing cigarette butts and litter on the floor.

Just deny it...someone with malicious intent gave her name and address (if indeed she did give them to the warden). I'd be very surprised if they persued it through a court of law with DNA evidence if no other evidence was available and if they did it'd make a great story for the newspapers.

But if there is a rule in the KFC car park, it should be applied to the rich and poor.

It's all very well you wanting to take it on and fight all the way, but what does your daughter think - has she been give an chance to express a view since it is her neck on the line if your fight goes pear-shaped?

Smoking is a filty habit and you raise another interesting question about the size of the fine, it is a lot to your daughter who is presumably skint, yet there will be a lot of others to whom £50 is what they would spend on a drink and couldn't give a toss. So do you then fine people according to ability to pay?

There is also the question of whether chucking rubbish should be an offence or not, Are you arguing that it should not be in general, or just in your daughter's case? what constitutes rubbish? a single item or only lorry loads?

An interesting question - it raises all sorts of issues!

Thats shocking re the birds -jeez -the bleeding seeds came from nature in the first place !!

People lash filth -dirty nappies -broken down cars -any trash any where and they arent confronted only because the authotities are frightened sad but true.
