afternoon , went into the bedroom to tidy things up and decided to de- clutter the bedside cabinet. Began to think that the contents of the cabinet have changed so much overtime.
Once there were scented candles , massage oils , condoms, a bottle of wine and whatever, now a library book, a few cough sweets, a crepe bandage , a tube of stuff for aching joints and a bottle of water.
Oh dear , felt quite sad -- and wondered where the years had gone.
Must be a touch of pre New Year reminiscence.

oh dear, do we have to add a list here as i have 2 bedside cabinets with 3 drawers in each and they are all full. If the bedside drawer police come round to your house brenda at least you won't blush.

i put some deep heat on my aching shoulder the other night before i got into bed and mrs maverick remarked ''i remember the days when you used to get into bed smelling of after shave''....my god i felt about 85....
