Itchy legs in bed ?
12 Answers
My legs tend to get very itchy at night time - any ideas on reasons for this and should I take an anti histamine or is there a cream out there that will help ?

Might be worth an antihistimine to try (ask pharmacy advice as there are different types and can be trial and error until you find the right one).
If it is an allergy though you will need to locate and remove the source.
Do they itch as in need scratching or just feel restless as that is something different, tonic water might help as it's a natural source of quinine.

If you cant get to dr's till monday then In the meantime make sure sheets are between your body and any Itchy blankets, as jenna said check for bedbugs, or If its bedmites then make sure you shake out your sheets and duvet daily and leave the bed exposed to get fresh air as well as open windows as this Ive heard keeps breeding down to a minimum, and maybe spray with a dettol water mix. If this is just down to itch skin my personal advice would be to make sure your getting enough fluids to rehydrate you from the inside, when bathing exfoliate your legs well to dislodge any dry dead skin and then whilst your legs are still wet use baby oil to lock In the moisture and see whether this solves your problem.
