i went to addenbrookes today and just got back. it looks like my shunt has broken up, and the movememnt was causeing ym headaches and where it had snapped, i get pains in my neck, where the end is digging in.

I could live with it or have it surgically removed, but the doctor said that i'd be in hospital for several days and one eprson she did it on a couple of years ago, was seriously ill a few days later. so . . .

i'm having some kind of scan done at a nearer hospital, probably a cat scan ect and she'll decide if its worth having it taken out, if it causing me pain and not doing anything useful.
