Drinking kettle de-scaler
9 Answers
Hi, a friend of the my family was de-scaling her kettle told her partner to leave the kettle alone while it was de-scaling, went to collect her daughter from school, when she got home her partner had made himself a chicken cup a soup with the water that was in the kettle, he thought the soup didnt taste as good as it normaly did but drunk it anyway, she said he felt a bit dodgy but didnt follow it up by calling the gp or hospital where i would have done, what harm could or would he have caused himself now by leaving it, this was about 3.30 yesterday afternoon. Thanks.

Dilute kettle descaler may be drunk by mistake from a kettle that is being descaled. Descaler diluted with water is unlikely to cause serious harm.
