My wish is that people will understand that children with disabilities do not have a disease; children with disabilities are not looking for a cure but ACCEPTANCE........93% of people won't copy and paste this, WILL YOU be one of the 7% that does............... and make this your status for at least an hour♥ ♥ Not Just... Children but Adults too....xxx♥

We, who have children with disabilities, don't feel the need to. IMO anyway
Ummmm +1
I already have Mustardmit.

P.S. Thank you for taking the time to post this - it's very important that more children & adults understand the meaning of acceptance. -x-
I'm the mother of a child with a disability and I do not wish to post this 'statement' on my facebook page. Does that make me a lesser person than those who have posted it? I don't think so!
Are the figures of 93% and 7% just plucked out of thin air?
I will not have someone trying to shame me or my FB friends into posting such spurious figures. If this pops up on my page I will be deleting it.

There was no obligation for me to copy/paste this into my profile, I just did it of my own free will. I had no intention of of making anyone else feel obligated either.
Sure those figures probably are plucked out of thin air...I just thought it was a positive message - for a change.
Same here Mustard!

I copied & pasted it because felt I wanted to & to make others aware - you know, the kind of people who gawp &/or ridicule disabled children &/or adults.

I have seen this with my own eyes & have confronted (in a diplomatic way) the very people who have done this & who think they are more superior - until it happens to them....
THis message is going round in various guises, I think last week it was to do with supporting the 'troops' and leaving it on for an hour etc... I thought it was pretty spurious that time round too but if people want it as their status then so be it. It's not doing any harm. I just don't think it's doing much good either.
I'm amazed at how many people who have posted this into their status,

Can't see that it's not not doing much good, but everyone to their own. ;o}
