How long is the longest time you have waited for ...........

someone to come check out your boiler ..i phoned them about the 16th of december but they have not arrived yet :S,when i called it was 1205 in the morning so had loads of numbers to phone before i got the right person who told me he would phone me in the morning at 345 the next day i was phoned!! only to be told it wasn't an emergency and they would be out the next day a.m i waited in and no one came next day no came .......nearly a month and 1/2 later my boiler started p1ssing out black water i phoned them this morning and they still not here i have a plug socket under my boiler which they know about what a bunch of assholes lol

And you didn't bother chasing them up since the 18th of December??

oh dear.......is it one of the big companies and do you have a service contract with them?
I have old George, who works by himself and is corgi registered.....if I ring his mobile he usually turns up the same day or the next at the latest...............

nope they told me i wasn't a priority because i was getting heating just not all the time ,plus should have been my stepsons birthday on the 18th then with xmas it just went out my head so much to think about ,but then found this happening this morning

My heating broke down and I was just coming down with a nasty virus... I rang the customer service line and they told me that I would have to wait 10 days for an engineer to come, as there were so many people in the same boat as me. Eventually, after much croaking, I got someone there the next day.

Still, i can understand you not chasing matter in the run up to Christmas and New Year, bu c'mon, it's now the 25th of January, you must have sussed before now they'd either forgotten or just couldn't be bothered. Surely the onus was on you to chase this up?

its my housing associations contractor so when i get them out and get a letter from the housing to see if i had good service they will be told how long i waited for them

well i wont forget this time i should have said my heating had started working again by itself at the time but i never phoned them to let them know this was the case hence why it had slipped my mind

just phoned them again and she asked when it was reported and said december she said oh we had alot of emergencies and we have a lot of emergencies now ,so told her mine was an emergency and as it was pissing out water she said oh ok and took my details again so hopefully someone will call soon
