Feeling feverish

I had a virus three weeks ago,cold and flu type symptoms.I slept most of the time for the first few days,and it lasted for just over a week.During this spell i was and still am having really hot flushes and then feeling very cold and shivery.I am starting to go through the menopause but these flushes are not like my menopausal ones.They come about every 20 minutes or so and are really getting me down.Any advice would be much appreciated.Polly

just a thought polly, it could still be menopause causing them. hot flushes do change as time goes on so even though they're not like any that you have experienced, it could be that they've altered and are meno related, especially as you say you're only starting to go through meno.
...but there again, they may not be :)

Thanks ethandron,its just that i go hot so quickly and then really cold,i thought perhaps it could be a fever.I've even resorted to wearing thermals!
