Funny Toe pain and Kneecap

I think I am falling to bits. Suddenly when I am out walking, and not in tight shoes, my middle toe feels like it has come out of joint, and it really hurts. Also the same thing happens with my knee - and not always on the same leg !! Any ideas - arthritis possibly ?

Possibly arthritis. Might be worth a trip to your GP to have it checked out.

My knee "goes" sometimes and so does my ankle, no explanation but it always comes back a few minutes later. No idea - but mine doesn't hurt, it just suddenly feels weak.

not just chilblains in the toe, is it? Given the cold weather... I've acquired some. Gout's just possible, though you'd probably notice that with shoes on or off. I would have thought arthritis was the most likely. But I suspect this is one for your GP, not for the internet.

SQAD .... you always come up trumps. I think that's what it is wrong with my toe. What about the kneecap though? Sounds like boxtops has the same condition. The kneecap seems to go weak and is then OK again.

smurfy....come on, one diagnosis and now you want another.....as sort of medical "buy one get one free?" LOL

The knee doesn't sound a "big deal" but I cannot be more specific with the description given.
