Please could anyone suggest a kind of medical type dictionary/handbook for home use, i.e. where a parent can look up symptoms of whatever and see what can be done or whether to go to a doctor, etc...that kind of book? Ta Muchly.

Good Morning. Waves Madly. I don't know of a book, but would advise phoning NHS direct who are really helpful when you need any information like this.

Oh yes, I should have made my question a bit clearer, it was more a family book rather than just for parents to their children...a kind of for all the family home medic book.
