Yes...go back to the surgeon who did the operation and tell him that her problem had not been resolved.

Cartilage would suggest that she had an operation known as a Septoplasty performed to relieve nose blockage and quite often it has to be revised (re done)
I had a deviated septum and had the same operation years ago. At the same time they drained my sinuses and the problem was cured although I don`t know which was most effective - probably the sinus drain.
She could look into possible causes of what aggrevated the sinuses - various theories such as eating dairy products. Or she could have some allergy tests. My sister has dreadful sinus problems and had the same op 30 years ago and it`s only now she`s discovered she`s allergic to grass (not even the pollen - just grass)!

Funny you should mention the neti pot. I remember the hospital staff making me sniff salt and water up my nose after my op. It`s obviously not a new idea. Maybe I should have marketed one all those years ago - I might have made my fortune by now
I would go back to your consultant. OH had the op some years back with great success but was told to go back if any problems developed.
