feeling hurt
4 Answers
Its been 6 weeks since my 2.5 year relationship finished. We lived together and were very in love until the stresses of money etc got too much and in the end the relationship broke down. We have been amicable and talking and its all been ok to deal with. Then about two weeks ago, he would arrange to meet up and then not show and then tell me he had 'forgotten'. We are still sorting finances and banks etc so i need to talk to him at times and he has now decided to not take my calls or return my texts. I eventually gort hold of him and asked him what his problem was. He told me flat out that he has more important things in his life than me and didn't have time to speak to me. he then told me he had slept with someone else. I know we are not together and had split up but i am so upset and hurt by his actions. How can you be forgotten so quickly. I can't bear the thought of gettin intimate with anyone right now as i am still trying to come to terms with our break up. How could he just jump into bed with someone without a second thought - i feel so sick and hurt!

It's like he's de-sensitising himself by being cruel to you. You need to do things your way and tell him that he needs to be at least on speaking terms until everything is all sorted... and that it is unfair for him to tell you of his sexual conquests which you do not need to hear about - what benefit is it to you? It is as if he is trying to make a point. Rise above it and remember you split up for a reason. You can find someone who does care a million times more about you. I wish there was a medicine for relationship break-up and hurt :( Good Luck.x
