Tears.
6 Answers
We were at a funeral of a family friend who had died at 37yrs old, leaving a wife & 2 boys one 5 and the other 8. My nephew Robert was there also being a 6ft 3" fireman, The 5year old was eyeing Robert up and then said to him "Robert, if I stood on your shoulders and reached up into the sky would I be able to touch my daddy in Heaven?"
Needless to say those in earshot were reduced to tears...
Kids sometimes say the sweetest things, has anybody got a story?

My girls were 5 when their great grandfather died; obviously they were askng questions about where you go once you die so I was talking to them about the different things that people believe. When I got to reincarnation and said some people believed you got to be born again , my youngest twin said ' I hope that's what happens to Papa; it would be nice for gran - gran to have a new baby in the house!'
My sister in law and her husband are divorced, and she had the two children.
My nephew, aged five was being really wound up by his sister to the point of tears. He disappeared and re-appeared with the telephone directory and sitting on the floor , started to go through it. "Where's D for Daddy?" he sobbed..... Not an adult dry eye......
