long thick hair
13 Answers
I have longish and really thick hair, ive never had it this long, it had always been short with choppy style, because ive been sooo lazy i havent had it cut for nearly 9 months. I have now noticed my hair is falling out easily when brushing and after i washed my hair and also breaking off, i was wondering is it to do with the weight of my hair or am i lack of some type of vitamins?

You could try the GP for some blood tests. They would test B vits iron, maybe thyroid. Don`t know what age you are but it`s quite common around the time of the menupause. If you had some kind of trauma about 4 months ago, the cycle of the hair could have been disrupted and that causes loss. As you said it`s breaking off as well, it could be overprocessing.
