I have chin length hair which is coloured. Could I have hair extensions withour ruining my hair? And also could I still have my roots done every few weeks? Which hair extensions would be the best? Thanks x

This is the best place to get extensions done

It doesn't come cheap and you will have to pay to have them redone frequently (They last up to 3 months if you are careful)  As long as you look after them they shouldn't ruin your hair too much.

Hiya Linz, I went to see about gettin hair extensions a few weeks back, the best ones to get are the real hair ones, they shouldn't do much damage to your hair and you will still be able to get ur hair coloured x

Hey there!! Thanks for that, so how do they fasten the real hair ones in? Do they still glue them o your scalp? Are you getting them Anita?

I don't think they glue them to ur actual scalp but its quite close to there, they use like a resin type substance.  I'm not gettin them done now cause my hair is quite thin I would have to have them done every 2 months and it would be about 100 each time so its not worth it really x

How long is your chin? With the average I'd say at about an inch and a half, it may be potentially dangerous to put such strain on that amount of hair if you want it to be longer. I'd recommend a wig.

Hair extensions quite often damage your hair, even when looked after properly.  The weight of the extensions pulls down on your hair, causing hair loss and even sometimes bald spots
