Less meat for a start. Saturated fats contain cholesterol and the materials that allow your body to make it. Virtually all saturated fat comes from meat, eggs and butter, so cut it out. Studies have shown that soluble fibre (such as found in oats...eat more porridge!) and monounsaturates (olive and other vegetable oils, some oily fish) can lower blood cholesterol significantly. Do remember though that your body requires some saturates to function properly.
