Make an appointment with your GP if he would feel better to go and have a more thorough check to see what has caused it, .....and i wish you all the best, sweetheart xx

the colonoscopy will tell him what's up. Most times it's what's called an anal fissure - a slight tear in the lining of the area that allows a small amount of blood through - harmless and heals itself. It's incredibly important that he doesn't ignore this or put it off though, as anything more serious will need to be treated earlier rather than later.
