I am not being a pedant at all but if I want to post a thread I always post it in the correct topic.

Any way you can move threads from CB to the correct topic so people get the message as its quite honestly a waste posting a thread there as its off the page in an hour sometimes.

Also whilst on the subject is there anyway you can stop posters posting threads advising us of there every move like..'Im off now be back in half an hour' 'Im Im back now' ' and trust me I could go on and on.

It does my head in cos CB/AB is not about any one person its a dip in dip out site and when I dip back in I check my proflile first in case I haven't replied to a post cos 'Ive popped out'.

Thanks if you can do anyhing about this.

I agree. those 'I'm off or lunch BRB' threads make no sense as some people may just have signed in and don't lnow what contribution that person has made to make them think they will be missed!!! (does that sound harsh?) it's often the case that i have no idea who the person is and so they're announement means nothing to me, I suppose there are more regulars than me whi spend alot of their day in CB though and feel they are indispensible

Dont think they have the concept of this site and think that they are indispenable.I dont even bother posting a thread on CB now-I did a few days back but it was tonque in cheek.I could scream at times-literally-if I see that bleeding alsation again i'll top myself lol!!!
I think a few are overly polite....

Same as good night threads....I now say goodnight in the thread I was mainly posting in.
sorry but I can think of worse things to spend my time worrying about. The 'back in half hour posts' are usually only in chatterbank, and if you are a regular to chatterbank half the posts are nonsense anyway, so those posts dont bother me. And I have even posted in wrong section just by mistake really and then I repost in correct one. anyone really wanting a serious answer will find the right section. Although alot of the time posting in CB is just a way to get a quicker answer. I tend not to go through topics though and just check most recent posts and if something catches my eye I go there.

Little point in having topcs then 4get .

I spend at the very max half an hour on here a day- I even go days without even coming on-treatment must be working- but even in that smalll window theres threads put up.

Anyway-rest assured everyone I dont lose sleep over it just posted here primarily as a Sugg and also to encourage people to post further afield and not clog CB.
Spelling corrections get on my tits and I bet mine are bigger than yours Tony ;-)

What you on about now Tony hmm?
Question Author
Here umm -I just got in before someone else did -the majority of my posts as you prob will gather are not to be taken very seriously :)

what do you mean by the alsation?
I know :-)

I also know where you're coming from. At least the night people can claim to be drunk...
Question Author
True umm -been there and will forever wear the T-Shirt lol

O and when im going off I just like you say night on the last thread I post -couldnt be e l b o w e d (see how I foxed the filter there)- posting a thread cos my eyes are held up by matchsticks by then.
Question Author
Read between the lines Dot lol!!
I'm never drunk so what's my excuse? (if I needed one?)
"is there any way you can stop posters posting threads advising us of their every move like : "I'm off now be back in half an hour ..." What's this then dris?

I said 'i tend to' people are different, but as I said most people that want a question answered post in correct topic.

Smurfchops -see my post on this very thread in the proper topic at 17.27 and it will all become apparent.Note to you -read thread before shooting oneself in foot :)

Anyways its a suggestion to the ED and as such shouldnt degenerate into trying to trip me up cos you'd be very hard pressed-just a wee word of advice lol

I know where youre coming from 4get but its becoming congested there now and I think some of the newer people should maybe realise that.I post and wait ages before I get an answer sometimes but im patient and am always very glad when I get good advice.

Now if we were all to do that then it would open AB up totally - a brand new world !
I'm being decidedly thick tonight because I don't knwo what you mean about an alsation, there are alot of cats and dogs in avatars or is it a user id?
