Semi-Permanent Hair colours...advice needed
2 Answers
Hi everyone, a question for you hair experts. I'm looking for a semi permanent hair colour that will cover hair that has a base colour and highlights. In other words the last time I had my hair done, the hairdresser highlighted it in foil packets and applied an all over colour in between. The colour now is dark blonde/fair with about two inches of grey roots. I can't afford to part with over £150 to get my hair redone at the minute, so I'm looking for a temporary solution to make my hair look a wee bit better. I looked at one or two packs and they seem to suggest that semi permanents can't be used with highlighted hair. Can anyone offer any advice please. Thank you so much. (apologies for posting in general section first of all rather than beauty)

I know what it says on the packet but if you are careful andf use a neutral colour you should be ok, warmer beige tones often work better than ash unless you have really cool colouring
Been doing it with mine for years never had a major disaster
£150 sounds a bit steep I go to one of the better salons in Birmingham and mine only costs around £100 if I have 3 colours and a restyle from one of the design consultants might be worth looking for somewhere new,
