I've just lit a cigarette using a match............I was instantly reminded of being about 15 again.
The smell and the taste of the 'sulphur' took me back as I didn't and daren't have a lighter at that age.

Saturday night at the cats whiskers in streatham... aka the cattlemarket could get in from 15 as looked a lot older and mates were late teens/early 20s

My Dad use to come into the pub everyday after work. I always gave him a cuddle and loved the musky smell. Clean sweat and dust. My partner smells like that when he comes in from work.....It reminds me of those days and my Dad.

Me too ummm..... if he'd come in straight from work he'd smell of hard work, earth and cabbages. All other times he smelt of Imperial Leather or Old Spice... Lovely x
