Hair colour advice please.

I 've blonde highlights put in every few months at my hairdressers but after a cut and blow last week (its a short shaped in at the back style) the bottom two or three inches at the back is showing my natural greying brown hair which looks awful! Can I do anything myself with a hair colour at home (I don't mind having an all over colour)What brand is best? Many thanks.

That's quite trendy, to have the bottom layer another colour - maybe that's why your hairdresser did it that way ! Don't do it yourself you might interfere with the blonde - go back to the hairdresser if you want the bottom done :)

Yes i suppose I should have it done at the hairdressers it was just the extra expense and I wondered what would happen if I put an all over colour on as I'm not bothered about the highlights- as long as the greys gone!!

A caramel base with some veil hilites should sort it.
