I've brought some new body moisturiser (Jergers on special offer in Superdrugs) and I'm really rather chuffed with it. However I've noticed recently that I don't think it's absorbing as well as it was previously and I think that's down to my shower gel (a Dove one). I use a toner on my face so that when my moisturiser goes on it absorbs properly and wondered if there's something similar I should be using as a shower gel?

And please don't tell me I have to start taking more than shampoo, conditioner and gel to the shower, I don't want to have to pack a suitcase to use the bathroom... ;0)

Cheers

Lmao! He threatens to clean the sink with my 'phil mitchell' shampoo on a fairly regular basis actually craft...

puzzled - I use one of those expholiating shower thingys when I use my shower gel, the ones that look like a scrunched up piece of net. So yes, I think I do. Although admittedly I've noticed I need a new one.
My daughter saw that her scrunched up piece of nylon for the shower said it had over a hundred uses, but she could only think of one use for it!!!!
Those scrunchy bits of net are rubbish, get yourself some Body Shop exfoliating gloves. They increase the lather of your body wash as well as removing dead skin cells, leaving your skin as smooth as a baby's bottom.
It's good to buy a body scrub as well, Boots and Body Shop do good one with bits of almond or apricot kernel etc in, to use in the bath. I get dry skin and it does help with the exfoliation. Scrunch things don't really have much effect.

Mmmm... I had a pair of those gloves I brought from boots or superdrugs and I thought they were bloody useless actually but I'll have a look at those body shop ones. I'll look at body scrubs as well, sounds like it's a body scrub thingy I need after all! :c)
Those net things are good for giving a good lather, but not much good for exfoliating. If you don't like the gloves, try a body brush.
I think the gloves are brilliant.
