. . . here's that other thread which isn't relevant to the rowing you asked for.

The following things are genetic, some of which have been passed down through my family, (some are obviously more serious than others);
~spinabifida
~hydrocefalis (not sure how its spelt)
~asthma
~flat feet
~going from really short to quite tall in about three years

I think they have something else like ginger or gingko in them to help stop colds and stuff by boosting your immune system.

So with all those things wrong with you do you really fancy your chances of getting that waitressing job?

Ok - I read wrestling - I'm going back to bed

They don't stop me from doing a waitressing job. Plus i was in an ice skating accident and the doctors are confused but the latest oen said i need to desesnsitise it by walking or standing on it, even when its hurting.
perhaps you haven't stopped growing yet, you might grow another foot
molly.....did you have spina bifida from being a baby and what treatment did you have and are perhaps still having?
And what is the treatment/symptoms of Hydrocephalus?
Question Author
They tried to sort out my tethered spinal cord but i don't think it went perfectly and has left a nasty scar on my back. A couple of years ago i was getting back ache on the scar when i sat down and i went and saw a specialist at addenbrookes and they said they might have to operate but after a couple of months it stopped, perhaps i changed my posture. . . .
Growing another foot isn't great when you've flat feet !
Question Author
I had both sorted out when i was a baby but now my shunt which drains the fluid from my brain has broken which digs into my neck and i get headaches at my shunt so they are considering taking it out. Plus it is looped around somehwere in my abdoment but its ahrd to tell what and how tightly. But that stops me from getting symptoms and they don't want to remove it if i still have excess fluid as they took one person out but she was seriously ill as it was still working.
molly you seem to spend almost every waking hour on here, why not go and do some revising or spend time with your family?
I started High School at 5 foot 1 inch
I left High School at 5 foot 10 inches. 9 inches in 5 years

That's normal.

My OH left High school age 16 at 5 foot 6 - at age 18 he was 6 foot 2 - 8 inches in 2 years.

Equally normal.
Well, that may well have sorted the spina bifida but would not have helped your hydrocephalus, so how was the latter dealt with?
Molly, I hope everything work out for you, and I wish you well in you health and exams. And hopefully one day you'll write 'that' book.
molly....sorry, he have had already answered my question.
