My girlfriend is driving me up the walls! We've been going through a rough patch recently as we haven't been able to see each other, she has been having problems with her mum and I have had alot on my mind regarding work and college. :-( this has caused us not to be able to see each other for just over a month however we have still been together and speaking on facebook. Now, earlier in the week we arranged to meet up at her house at 6:00 yesterday evening, she e-mailed me yesterday evening "Sorry, i cant meet today, i'm ill" So i thought nothing of it, we spoke later on and i said okay, do you want to do it tommorow night instead? she agreed so all was good, she e-mailed me yet again earlier on saying "I didnt get much sleep last night so im going to get some sleep, sorry cant meet you", now this has really p!ssed me off! she is forever coming up with excuses as to why she cant meet. I have said to her, is our relationship not worth more than facebook chat?!?! she told me her mum suffers with anxiety hence its difficult for me to go to her house because her mum doesn't like meeting new people, (she lives with her mum and i have not yet been to her house). I am really fed up with her constant excuses but when im with her, im happy. I don't know what to do! :-(

Benny, I don't mean to sound harsh, but are you sure she's single?
Question Author
Yes, thats the one thing i am pretty sure of, i don't think she would cheat on me.
Are you sure she oes live with her mum? How long have you been together. My sis had same thing with her bloke, was with him 2 years and had never met his family, wasnt going anywhere etc. and one night she decided to spy on him when he said he was at his mums, his car wasnt there and a few weeks later she found out he'd been living with his girlfriend the past 3 years! If it is not going anywhere which it doesnt seem to be maybe you should call it a day. If you have any future together then you ned to start getting to know her mum even if she suffers from anxiety. You are a very good looking lad I'm sure you wont be single for long.
Have you explained toher that you don't have to meet at hers? or is she afraid of leaving her mam at home?
Sounds to me like she's making excuses.
if its any help, i´ve been dating my bird for over 3 yrs now, and i´ve only been invited once to her folks house.

thanx 4getmenot, :-) yeh, again, im pretty sure she lives with her mum, she is forever talking about her home life with her mum, brother and sister, however she does not get on well with her mum, a couple of weeks ago she left home to live with mates for a couple of days but hr mum came and fetched her back home. i want to get to know her family but dont know if i can put up with her excuses and unreliability, if that makes any sense.
piggy how old are you though and does she ive with her parents?
Awww :( If you're unhappy then maybe it's time to move on. As said above you look like a lovely looking lad and sounds like a lovely guy too so go find someone who you can be happy with.
Question Author
We've met in the park around the corner from her house plenty of times now (dont read anything into that. lol) but she has never wanted me to go back to hers for some reason, i dont know whether she may be embarassed of her mum or what??
How long have you both known each other, Benny?
if as you say she doesnt get on with her mum, do you think she is embarrased about her family at all?
Question Author
Thanx Jenna, I appreciate your compliment. :-) I obviously want to be happy but when im with her im happy and when we speak im happy, but its just finding a happy medium, do the positives weigh out the negatives, i cant decide, i had to say to her earlier on that i would e-mail her later, i couldnt speak to her at the time because i was just so fed up. :-(

maybe you should leave it with her for her to decide, dont keep making the first move or asking to meet her. If she still wants to be with you then she will msg and ask to meet up, if you dont hear from her it will eventually fizzle out. Do you love her?
Question Author
Society, we have been together about 4 months.
Benny, play her at her own game and see how she likes it?
Question Author
Yes, i do love her, but the more and more we don't see eachother, the less and less i feel that way.
Question Author
She is so unpredictable!
as I said leave it with her and see what happens
