My friend bought a lottery ticket on his birthday and said that was the only one he will ever buy, so that he doesn't get addicted. . . . . . he's now bought another. Plus he's always saying how he's got no money, and will probably lie and say he lives with his dad most of the time, just to get £10 every two weeks.
Starting in year 12, if your household's income is less than 30k you get money for staying on in further education. But this year we have gone over by £50 because of my mums poxy part time jobs, so I won't get anything, but my friends mum and step dad have got good jobs so they are well over the limit. Perhaps he'll be honest, or may move in with his dad more.
Its true, I cook about twice a week for us both, I look after my dog, do gardening, clean my fishtank, empty and fill dishwasher, set and clear table, put the shopping away, and hoover.
They are poxy because we've lost hundreds of pounds, most of which they'd have expected me to give to them and even when she was working, she'd come home complaining about this and that and it (to do with work and home) and it doesn't seem worth it.
