i use daily disposable lenses and notice that i have quite a lot left in the box i am using and they expire on April 2005. will it be safe to use them after that date?

Most daily disposable lenses have a shelf life of 3 years so if these are lenses you've recently been sent, I'd take them back to your optician and ask for replacements. Chances are, if the lenses are still properly sealed in the blister packs they will be ok to use after April 2005 but you might not want to take the risk.
