I too have type 2 and that is the first I`ve heard of Victoza and am very interested, and as I have an appointment with my doctor to-morrow I will enquire about it as my wieght is increasing. By the way, why have you changed your Avatar? seems such a shame, that pretty face should not be hidden. Bill
good afternoon bill,
nice to hear from you, hows you,
i did leave you a message over on one of the other posts the other night, cant remember if it was my m&s cheesey post or another..?
anyway, i hope youve been keeping ok? and youve been enjoying the sunshine?
yes, ask your doctor about victoza when you see him tomorrow.
its just a simple quick daily injection.
its meant to help with weightloss because it slows down your digestion of food, keeping you feeling full for longer, therefore not eating so much.
have a read up on it, theres lots about it on tinternet.
try the diabetes.co.uk website, enter victoza into the search bar on there, and youll see lots of peoples posts discussing their own experiences/views/results on it.
its meant to be very very good bill, so its worth a mention at your appointment tomorrow.
let me know how you get on.
as for the photo, welllll, i thought id have a change lol.
i see youve still had no luck with yours then, tut, thats a shame that.

Just got back from "The Match", much better than last weeks rubbish. 1-0 good enough, roll on Sunday.
Regarding eating too much.....I eat very little as I don`t have much interest in stuffing myself, I find as long as I feel satisfied then I down tools and just have a snack in the evening watching the box, usually a bowl of some cereal with fruit.
I still haven`t tried again with an avatar, but will get around to it soon.......maybe!!
Lovely to hear from you again, and don`t get in the sun too much.

hi again bill,
im much the same as you, i dont over eat either, and i know when to stop, so we shall have to see how the weight loss goes or doesnt go! i could do with losing some mind.
maybe still have a word with your doc tomorrow though, see what he says, because this is a hormone that helps things work more efficiently, helping to prevent high and low sugars, bringing them down, with the likelyhood your insulin will be reduced a fair bit, to maybe not needing to take it attall, which would be good, because as we know, insulin is one of the main causes of weight gain.
what insulin are you on bill? im on lantus, just one injection a night of only 60 units (was on 80 before i started victoza) and metformin.
glad you enjoyed the game, speak soon :o)
