Have you ever forgotten a whole night or part night through drunkiness? Now bobbi this post is not directed at you, you just got me thinking. I have never been in a situation where I've not known what I did or where I was the night before. I dont know how much I'd need to drink for that to happen, and dont undrestand the people that drink that much to get like that and dont know if they had a good night or not. I've forgotten about bits of the night but then get flashbacks then think 'oh my god I said that' If I couldnt remember I'd be so worried as to what I may have done.

No 4get. No, don't I've ever been THAT drunk - like being in control too much!
Alcoholic blackouts are a serious sign of a real drink problem. If anyone gets them it's probably time to take a long look at their drinking patterns
Sadly I always remember what I did or said and have to hide for a few days or wear my hat with the big veil.

I always remember I just dont always stop myself at the time lol. There is a boy in out town that is guarenteed to fall asleep in the pub every saturday night and I always think 'surely he's immune by now, and how much must he drink to get to that stage' but then I saw him up pub Friday so he must start then lol
and so will I !!!!!
Getting that drunk is something that most young people do. I have been there but it's so long ago I have mostly forgotten it.
Before 40 it is foolish, after 40 it is a sad reflection of people who have never found anything better to do with their time

Nope, never been that drunk. Truth be told my body won't let me, I throw up if I drink too much! I think I probably mixed drinks a lot more when I was younger and experimenting but these days I only drink what I actually like which is wine or champers. Although I did discover an old favourite tonight (didn't fancy wine) and had a gin and bitter lemon which I really enjoyed.
I have been drunk for many years now 4get. Older and wiser I suppose - but I can remember a couple of times I got really drunk and it wasn't pleasant. Pleasantly sozzled is totally different!!

leave it bobbi
Only once, I went on an all girls trip to Blackpool for the day. We'd had quite a bit to drink and ordered a taxi to take us back to the coach for home. I fell asleep on the coach for the whole trip back to where I was staying (with my sis-in-law at the time). The next day I felt OK but the girls were telling me about some guy off an oil rig!! had taken a shine to me and got in the taxi and then the coach to come home with us. I honestly didn't remember a thing about it, talk about blank stares it took days before I could piece it together,I found it really scary not being able to recall anything about it. It was the first and last time that happened to me. I found out later that there were two other guys who were with him and saw that we all got to our coach. There was no hanky panky. Thank goodness.

Good good tinker. I got worried lastnight, I mean I do tend to drink alot when ou but always know we are in a group. But this girl was on her own and trolleyed not knowing how she was getting home, I told her she could stay at mine. In the end 2 men came by that she knew but even then I'd have rather she'd have sad no to going back with them. You just never know.
