Generally, viral infections just clear up of their own accord, and it's only with bacteriological infections that they dish out the a-biotics. Why don't you stop taking the tablets and if your lightheadedness stops, you know that it was they wot was causing the problems - and see your GP about this. Also depends on how long you havebeen taking them. He has possibly given you a limited course of the tablets, e.g. 3 a day for a week. However, hope you feel better soon. Chox.
Greedyfly, thanks, I don't usually panic about things like this but when you think it could be something the doctors missed and its been eating you away for several weeks it gets worrying! Especially I take more vitamins and eat healthier than anyone I know!
Chokkie the lightheadedness has being a symptom of whatever I've got as Ive had this weak and disorientated feeling since I was invaded by the virus! I was only given the Antibiotics yesterday so its not them, maybe I should give them a chance to work!
