shifting cellulite...
3 Answers
i am only a stone over weight so not exactly a fatty, but I have PCOS and one of the symptoms is obesity...now im not obese obviously but i beleive it is this that is causing me to develop cellulite in places its not usually seen such as calves, front of thighs, waist, arms etc
i have thought about getting those specail shoes, that are curved and meant to tone you up, but the problem i have...also due to the pcos is think is that my muscles are solid....rock hard, all over...(due to higher levels of testosterone) - except they are covered in a thin layer of fat/cellulite...so i dont really want something that will tone my muscles up...i need something that gets rid of the fat
any ideas?
thanks

hi, thanks...yes i think its a tough one...im only 10st and 5" so not too bad with weight really...and i get the hair thing but not spots or dark marks
i am on a low carb diet - i am a veggie so its hard but it does work...just lots of quorn in place of meat...i lost about a stone and a half without even realising it...i kind of did the diet by accident...only realised why later
there is info online about it so tell your daughter to try it
she could eat any cheeses and lots of meat - any meat....but only for 2 weeks on the inducton phase...so worth a try...

I have PCOS and have had problems with my weight since I was a teenager - I am now 46.
I am diabetic as a result of the insulin resistance problem, my weight is a major concern and I had many miserable years of excess hair growth. Thankfully laser hair removal is now available.
I did lose weight a couple of years ago on a low GI diet - it seemed to keep my blood sugar at a reasonably healthy level and the weight came off steadily.
