has anyone tried the gumsheilds and do they work??

My dad uses them, but I can still hear him snoring in his room; and we're on opposite ends of the house. Although he's oddly very quiet tonight.
They really don't work too well for him, though. If anything, I've noticed a slight improvement since he's been wearing them, but that's all.
