What is the best and worst thing that happened to you today?

Best: I checked my lottery ticket and found I'd won.

Worst: I got caught in the rain coming home and my flip flops were veritable death traps with wet feet inside.

nice one, i got £90 for 4 numbers last week (well the stegess did)
Evening NoM x

The best thing was...I've just had a Rum & Raisin ice cream (one I made myself) It was good.

The worst thing was having to work :o(

I hate that flip flop and rain thing
Question Author
Rum and Raisin has got to be my favourite flavour in the UK (though you can get Ron y Pasas in Spain).

Work's a drag... but the alternative is worse, non?

best : phone call from stegess saying she had arrived in zante ok
worst : her not being here
Hi NoM - watch those feet - the fingers can hardly have mended (:-))
Best - seeing Sis more mobile and freer from pain
Worst (?) had a copy of a letter sent to my GP from the hospital consultant (I have not heard of half of the terms used in it so I am doing my homeowrk on it before I see my GP tomorrow. Might finish the brandy off tonight, just in case.......(;-))

Wow, Butch... a really riveting day then...

TTFN... Glad to hear about your sister and good luck for tomorrow. My fingers are ok, but my legs are still badly bruised from falling off my mother's stepladders last week. I'm such a plonker ! lol
Worst: sinus headache
Best: Random kiss and an "I love you" from my 8 year old niece.

(The wet flip flops are brutal)

Headaches are horrid !

I've been having migrainous (sp?) neuralgia a lot lately. It's just like someone sticking a hat pin right through your eyeball and straight through your head.

Random displays of affection are lovely too. I've had some nice texts today.
best ; seeing Little CRX in his class assembly, he was so proud of himself

worst: finding out that the family holiday with friends has got to be cancelled.
Hi NoM.

Best of the day: A Lady that spent nearly £200 pounds in the shop on two pairs of Asics Gel Kayano running shoes (one pair for her and one for her husband) and two Airr insoles. She was only in the store for about five minutes.

Worst of the day: One of my colleagues watching me struggle like hell with a customer and leaving me to flounder (It was his department I was covering).
There were 2 'bests'....the first were the Royal Marines jogging past my bus stop this morning. The second was receiving an anonymous gift from one of the clients at the homeless charity where I am a cook....it was a giant mus with 'grumpy old git' on it....lol!!

The worst was getting wetter than I've ever been when I walked the dog...it's a gale out there.
Question Author
Red... I bet he looked sooooo cute. x

Sorry about the hol. I had to cancel a holiday to Tobago back in '04 because of an inquest. Mum and I were gutted.

JN... nice colleague. You'll have to find a way to repay the favour ;-)

Hey, Pasta !

So... some nice eye candy, eh ! lol

How is little Sally settling in now?
he'd have looked cuter if he hadnt planted his little face into the pavement yesterday.
Ooh was a good day today. In the office just past 7am but my lovely colleague bought me in a bacon barm as a breakfast treat which was really sweet.

Had a good day workwise, hard work paying off, boss taking us out for dinner tomorrow night and looking forward to the weekend :)

Worst...wasn't really one, probably just being a bit knackered and hoping my knee and the weather decide to behave themselves for the weekend.
Question Author
Omg... is he okay? x
*little*??...lol...she's a lump that has taken over my sofa....she stretches out full-length.It's swings and round-abouts.....lots needed to get her really settled. Poor thing knew nothing of the 'good life'...
Worst:
Customer came in asking for a refund on a licensed product that she had bought for her son but he had rejected it, I explained that once the seal and wrapping on a licensed product is opened we could not refund it. Well she was a right bully and stucj with the tried and tested bullying techbniqes of criticising my attitude, laying the blame at the person that sold it her for not telling her and demanding my name so that she could complain to head office. When I sympathetically and apologwetically explained that there was absolutely nothing I could do she demanded my name again and I explained politely that I did not need to give out my name but I would pass on her comments. What a fuss people make.

Best: Got home and next doors gazebo has collapsed lol
Best -Finding my shorts from last year still fitted.
Worst - sitting here in the heat sweating and swatting mosquitos in the dark
