What is the best and worst thing that happened to you today?
Best: I checked my lottery ticket and found I'd won.
Worst: I got caught in the rain coming home and my flip flops were veritable death traps with wet feet inside.

Hi NoM - watch those feet - the fingers can hardly have mended (:-))
Best - seeing Sis more mobile and freer from pain
Worst (?) had a copy of a letter sent to my GP from the hospital consultant (I have not heard of half of the terms used in it so I am doing my homeowrk on it before I see my GP tomorrow. Might finish the brandy off tonight, just in case.......(;-))

Hi NoM.
Best of the day: A Lady that spent nearly £200 pounds in the shop on two pairs of Asics Gel Kayano running shoes (one pair for her and one for her husband) and two Airr insoles. She was only in the store for about five minutes.
Worst of the day: One of my colleagues watching me struggle like hell with a customer and leaving me to flounder (It was his department I was covering).

There were 2 'bests'....the first were the Royal Marines jogging past my bus stop this morning. The second was receiving an anonymous gift from one of the clients at the homeless charity where I am a cook....it was a giant mus with 'grumpy old git' on it....lol!!
The worst was getting wetter than I've ever been when I walked the dog...it's a gale out there.

Ooh was a good day today. In the office just past 7am but my lovely colleague bought me in a bacon barm as a breakfast treat which was really sweet.
Had a good day workwise, hard work paying off, boss taking us out for dinner tomorrow night and looking forward to the weekend :)
Worst...wasn't really one, probably just being a bit knackered and hoping my knee and the weather decide to behave themselves for the weekend.

Worst:
Customer came in asking for a refund on a licensed product that she had bought for her son but he had rejected it, I explained that once the seal and wrapping on a licensed product is opened we could not refund it. Well she was a right bully and stucj with the tried and tested bullying techbniqes of criticising my attitude, laying the blame at the person that sold it her for not telling her and demanding my name so that she could complain to head office. When I sympathetically and apologwetically explained that there was absolutely nothing I could do she demanded my name again and I explained politely that I did not need to give out my name but I would pass on her comments. What a fuss people make.
Best: Got home and next doors gazebo has collapsed lol
