I am looking for the title of a book I read a couple of years ago. Can anyone help?

The story was set in London. The main character was working for the council as a tree preservation officer and taking creative writing classes on an evening. She was having an affair with her tutor. He was married to a high flyer ad exec called Laura, who in turn had an affair with her intern. They have two daughters The tutors best friend was a man called Will, who was a journalist on a local paper and he was investigating an attack on a child by a fox. I am fairly certain fox features in the title. It turns out that as a teenager, Will attended a party in Brixham where a fire broke out and killed some of the party goers. The main character starts writing short stories of the predetory nature female foxes, which the tutor contemplates stealing. He ends up with his Teaching assistant called Claire, who is pregnant.

Quite a lot of detail and it is really bugging me now
