I have an infection on my back teeth/gum a swelling is around the gum anybody tell me what to buy for it. I do think I need an antiobiotic but my dentist makes you wait for 4 hours (if it emergency) and I could not sit for 4 hours.

rinsing with corsodyl mouthwash may help.
Try a tea tree oil mouthwash if you can get one and painkillers but dental infections don't often get better on their own so you should see your dentist
It's wise to visit your dentist if not only to make an appointment with a hygienist. Simple anti bacterial mouth wash and brushing can prevent the build up of bacteria, causing the inflammation and bleeding of the gums. Be careful not to use too much anti bacterial mouth wash as it could alter the bacteria/fungi balance in the mouth and give you oral thrush, which will make the situation worse. A physical examination is advised if symptoms persist but generally antibiotics are not required.
