at what age do we start to dream

I had a dream last night that i went on holiday without my youngest child. He is 4 and when i told him about the dream he said

'what's a dream?'

of course he will have had a dream before , but when do we start to remember them?

can anyone remember a childhood dream?

some people just dont have or dont recall dreams. Mr CRX recalls one a year or so lol

Little CRX is 5 and he wakes from nightmares and can tell me all about them. I told him that a dream is like a tv program and that his mind is just showing him a film of something. He doesnt like the fact that he cant turn it over though lol

when I was 5 I dreamed that I fell out of the living room window, I was holding on to the ledge and it was night time the rain was coming down and it was windy.

I still remember that dream now even though it had no significance whatsoever.

I think it's been proved that babies dream whilst still in the womb, although don't quote me on that!
I remember loads of my childhood dreams, remember having one when I was at nursery that I was grown up and had stolen a rattle from the nursery so the police were after me!
