Am I fat??

Hi! I am 11 years old. I am 5ft and i weigh 126. But listen i have a real big stomache people in my class were size 12s and 14s and i barely fit a 16(in girls).And if you think i am fat just tell me i wanna know the truth.

Hye. I would say yes you are a bit overweight for your age but it's very difficult to tell to be honest. First of all you may have sense bones which while not being any bigger may just be heavier which doesn't affect how you look but does affect your weight. Secondly I wouldn't worry about it at the moment (no diets!!) because at your age you'll pobably have a few more growth spirts in the near future and all the extra stuff in your tummy will probably literaally stretch out to compensate for the extra height. Just eat healthily and do a bit of exercise - you really shouldn't be worrying about this sort of thing at your age x x x
It is probably puppy fat.  Provided you eat sensibly and exercise with physical education etc, you should not have a problem.
That's only 9stone so I don't think you are big. If the clothes are from somewhere like TopShop their sizes measure up tiny but if you go elsewhere you'll probably find you are a 12 or 14.
At 11 you are probably just starting to grow and mature...your hips and breasts are probably developing and it is normal to notice varied differences in weight...your body will level itself out so don't worry!!! How much you weigh does not necessarily mean that you look fat, as a previous post said, your bone and muscle density will influence your weight as will your body type (some girls weighing the same as you might look thinner because the weight is distributed in their legs/thighs buttocks whereas other girls weighing the same will look fatter because all the weight is isolated in one area for instance the stomach)...eat healthy and wait a few years for your body to level itself out...unless you have a double chin and troubles breathing it can't be that bad!!! x
darling you are way too young to be worrying bout your weight. enjoy good food and exercise moderatly and they're wont be a bother on ya
