I used to collect spoons from places I'd been, or teatowels, but I don't do it any more - I will never need to buy another teatowel as long as I live.

I have a small collection of 'Police' type whistles t(he long thin tube thingy). They give me a reason to browse in junk/antique shops. I have engraved/stamped Police, Scout, Air Warden, Girl Guide etc. whistles. Unfortunately, the Girl Guide Whistles don't seem to work :-)

I collect Railway memorabillia, not as a hobby but because I work on the railways and gather bits and pieces for future profits ;o)

Elvis - my dad was a train driver 1949 to about 1990 and when he died the amount of 'stuff' that he had stashed away was amazing. Sold most on ebay but still have odds and ends.

I don't collect anything but I took part in a campaign to have a Scottish character in Stargate Atlantis brought back to life after they killed him off. It worked and he came back to the programme. We had a website and a letter writing campaign - all the usual saddo stuff.

Elvis - most of the stuff I have left is local stuff (Perth) and a T shaped key thingy. There was a few ties - different designs but I am not 100% sure if I still have them.
