What is the average hip circumference for a girl of 17, height 5ft6? And also when ppl talk bout hip measurements is it the two sticky out bones just below the waist that you measure or the bones just above the thighs? x x x

I don't know about the average hips for your age/height, but when taking hip measurements you measure around the widest part - ie round the top of the thighs.

If you have "sticky out" bones then you're probably don't need to worry about being overweight, probably the opposite.
