straighteners - kodo or hair tools

I want to buy some hair straighteners around the �70 mark (or less), GHDs are a bit out of my price range seeing as though I don't need them desperately for my hair to look ok. Reading reviews and other answers here it seems Kodo and Hair Tools are popular...anybody used both and can give a comparitive opinion? or any other brands particularly recommended that come close to ghd?

I have found the Remington straighteners work really well, mine were around �35, no need for GHD!

I bought Remington straighteners for my two daughters for Christmas.  They were �9.99 in T J Hughes so seemed too good to miss.  They've both been very happy with them but they haven't used any other ceramic straighteners so can't actually compare them.

I've got the �35 Remington ones as well and wouldn't swap them for anything, they do an excellent job.

I have used both, and although GHD are the best ever,  I would say the Kodo ones are the next best thing � they are excellent.  However, hairtools I found to be completely useless, by the time you are finished straightening the last bit of hair, the first bit you did is curly again!

i have had my kodo straighteners for over 1.5 years now and they are fab.  i have hair that is quite frizzy but these are fab and the condition of my hair is still great.  Have used hair tools and did not like them and my friend who had them thought my kodos are much better!!!  have not had GHD but could not see how they can be any better than kodo.

bought them for my sister too!!!! she loves them.

if anything ever happens to them would not be prepared to try anything else.

remington ceramic straightners...YOU WONT GO WRONG!! id put my life down for them!! have mine a year now and would go into a panic attack if i lost them!
