Saw Barry Manilow on Daybreak this morning. He's had so much done to his face he can hardly talk and it looks like he's had a patch-up after a terrible road accident or something. Just appalling. The worst male example I've ever seen - at least Mickey Rourke can blame boxing. Now he really can't smile... Why do these celebs do this to themselves? Presumably the likes of Manilow will have to keep adjusting their surgery as the years continue to go by. I have far more respect for those who grow old naturally. What do you think...could it be tragic?

yes, watching Daybreak is fairly tragic
"Could it be tragic" - nice one chirpy!
Actually, yes, it is - pathetic. Why do they do it - they end up looking far worse than if they'd just left things alone. Barry Manilow was always ugly - now he's weirdly ugly.

What I was amazed at, was how crap he sounded singing that pathetic 'daybreak' tune - he was awful live.
i missed it but saw him on t,v a few years ago he looked bad then so god knows what he looks like now!!
wonder how old he is now?

Wasn't he involved in an accident a few years ago which necessitated cosmmetic surgery?
He broke his nose when he "fell out of bed" but didn't have it surgically altered!
