Not sure if this is the right place to put this question - but can some of you out there tell me which you think is the best fake tan available? I've not really used it before - i normally use sunbeds!! But am slowly realising they aren't that great!! I'm terrified of streaky legs though!! Any ideas?!

50!!! Doesnt cost that much with me. Really good though. Doing it yourself with the bottle is a bit of a challenge but with care st. tropez is great.
Hello. I tried St Tropez, from a packet, but it did nothing for me! I've found both Lancome and Clarins works fine, no streakyness or orange legs. Just wash your hands after!

St Tropez is defo the best. I find the mouse the best as with the lotion you have to wash it off in the morning & it is easier to apply. A bottle of the mouse is about 30 for a large. If you can afford to get it sprayed on profesionally, (as FTVS says is approx 50) its well worth it

I've used most of them, Clarins, Clinique, Lancome etc but have found the best one to be a spray on one by Boots  from their Soltan range.  Only costs 6.99 too. Plus it doesn't smell funny when it's developing, some have an awful smell to them!

I have tried several, and to be honest my favourite is Avon, they have both lotion and spray and one specifically for the face, but I just used what I had.  Its not at all fake looking or orangey, just ensure its massaged in evenly, always helps to get more assistance?

Cheers

I use one called Lancaster which i picked up at Gatwick airport. I wouldn't say it's the best fake tan i've ever used, but it does give the best colour - it looks really natural and i never get any streaks with it.  It doesn't stay on long tho, so i tend to put it on the night before a 'do'.

I also swear by St Tropez mousse. As the product is coloured you can see where its going, and the mousse spreads much more easily than creams.Just wear surgical/latex gloves when applying.
Most fake tans are great - it's all in the application. It's very important to exfoliate (remove dead skin) and moisturise before applying.
I use fake tan all the time, it makes you feel so much better in the winter if you have a tan all year round. I think the best one is Piz Buin, its ace, it ranges from about 7 to 11 depends on where you buy it. It dosent smell bad, like most fake tans do and it goes on tinted so you know where you have applied it. It is the business! the best one is the lotion! comes off easily to. Its definately the way to go!!
The secret isnt the product...its how u apply it. first exfoliate and mosturise your skin thoroughly...leave for a few hours and apply the tan using latex gloves in a brightly lit room or beeter still, daylight. use a friend for guidance,..a good friend that is, not one that will thimk its hilarious for u to go clubbing zebra style. a great quick fix if you've to tan at short notice is rimmel instant tan in shimmer or matte. must be applied with a damp sock for best results....trust me!!
dont pay silly amounts for a rubbish fake tan!! iv been working in a tanning salon for 2 years now & from my experience & knowledge the best fake tan around is called 'fake bake', its not expensive & does not make u look orange, it makes u look brown! its wonderful, trust me!
I have used loads of self tans. And i think the best self tans are. Clinique spray or my favourite one it fake bake. It is fool proff and it's a great colour. Just make sure you wear special gloves.
