Metallic Foul Taste in Mouth

Does anyone know what causes it and how to get rid of it? I havent got a cold nor am i sick its driving me mad! I clean my teeth twice a day it only came on yesterday.Thank you

Gastric Reflux is a common cause.

It is almost certainly temporary and that a sinus infection is the most likely cause in my experience.

I assume you are a non smoker.

last time i had that problem it was a dodgy tooth filling that was ready to fall out.

If I ever have a sleeping tablet the night before (rarely these days, thank goodness) I always have a metallic taste in my mouth until the next lunchtime at least.

That probably doesn't help as you're not on anything other than the OCP, but just thought I'd say for interest, extra info, or benefit ;-)

Too much iron in the blood.

I get it sometimes but I don't know why.

Hi I had the same problem and narrowed it down to using sweeteners in my coffee, no problems after I stopped using them. hope this helps.
