Sore nipples on men

My husband gets really sore nipples in the cold weather (he'll kill me if he reads this as he's an occasional ABer).

Anyway, I was wondering if any other men suffer with this and if so, what should he put on them?

I've told him I'll have to buy him some Lansinoh nipple cream but I think he's a bit embarrassed about it. Thanks

Does he run? He wishes! He's been on crutches for over a year. It's just that when it's cold, they 'come out' and one in particular will get sore, possibly from rubbing against his top or whatever. He finds it quite painful/uncomfortable.

Thanks but I think he's tried sudocrem and it didn't help much. Any other suggestions?

they call it joggers nipple,but your husband is getting sore by the rubbing of his clothes,maybe see the doctor

Thanks hc - I don't think he'd like the idea of putting plasters over them - imagine the pain of ripping them off - ouch!

I don't think he's that worried about them as it only happens when it's cold but obviously if they get any worse, he'll have to go. Thanks

A couple of cotton-wool pads over them will be more comfortable, and cheaper.
