odd sounding weightloss/toning technique - could it work?
8 Answers
many many years ago an overweight pal of mine was somewhat ridiculed for telling of a theory he was trying out to lose weight an tone up
basically he told people he tied a piece of string tightly round his waist ...sounds daft, right?
however in the telling of this story, the teller left out the reason...deliberately ...in order to make the story sound all the more daft...for a laugh...
however i thought about it...and i've come to the conclusion that the theory is simply that it reminds you to keep your stomach muscles taught because its uncomfortable if you dont...and the constant tensing up will, over time strengthen an tone your stomach...
so although its sounds daft on the surface, it seems to have some logic
what do you think? have you heard of this before?
thanks

It wouldn't make much sense to do this. Pay attention to calorie consumption, and exercise volume, that's what gets results: http://www.how2muscle...calories-per-day.html
