Stupid question... About celebrities
8 Answers
OK, so we all know we do it, we very quickly assess people when we see them... "Am I attracted to them or not?"
So here's my question; Why do you get a massive attraction to certain people in films or on TV that you know for a fact you wouldnt look twice at if they walked past you on the street???
Stupid question I know but it bugs me sometimes!!!

A lot of attractive stars you see are well made-up, well-lit, in good situations, i.e. entertainment, or films, and this adds to the 'feel-good' factor that kicks in.
You may well notice them in the street, but that, by definition, is transitory - a glance as you passed Cheryl Cole on the high street is different to seeing her in a three-minute pop video - change the scenario to fit your own favourites.

I don't think so. Pics in particular are so airbrushed that you don't really know what you are looking at. I'm not at all into the celebrity scene so I'm probably not the best person to ask. It's when some of them open their mouths that I start to decide whether I like them or not - nothing to do with what their accents sound like, more if they have anything interesting to say.
Hahahahahaha Loving the answers...
It just dumbfounds me every time it happens...
Perfect two examples are Matt Cardle in X Factor - I am not into X-Factor at all but I think Matt is very good looking. I know for a fact that I would not be attracted to him if he worked at my work or in a shop I shop in...
Also, Robert Pattinson - Totally not my type and never found him attractive until Twilight!!!
