Dent Removal On Car Bodywork.

Hi guys.
I am being told by a friend that there is a method of dent removal which involves heating up the area (with a fan heater or similar) and then quickly cooling it with a freezing spray (or something similar).
Does anybody know anything about this technique or what it is called please?
Does it work?

There is .. and it can work.
You need to practice tho. It's not easy.
Idea is based around metal expands more when heated than when it cools.
